---You may take all of your 36 CEs for New York with us. (See question 17 in NY's FAQ: "Can I take all my courses on-line? Yes. There isn't any limit to how many courses you may take on-line through an approved sponsor.")
To make it easy, we've put CE packages together for New York. CLICK HERE.
If you're going to choose your own courses, New York has rules about what type of courses they will accept for your license renewal. They do not accept business courses, aromatherapy or Reiki.
In addition, we do not recommend these courses for New York: Any course specifically for Florida.
We've made it simple; do not take courses with any of these words in the title and you're perfect: Business, Florida, Reiki or Aromatherapy.

State License Renewal: Each state has separate continuing education rules. Our current understanding of New York requirements is:
Continuing education hours:
36 hours during each three-year registration period.
If this is your first renewal, massage therapist continuing education is not required. "Massage therapists shall be exempt from the mandatory continuing education requirement for the triennial registration period during which they are first licensed." (Article 155, Section 7807.1.b)
New York does not allow you to carry over extra hours to the next registration period.
We strive to keep our information up to date. Click the contact information below if you are unsure of your state's requirements.
AMTA and ABMP
You may also take all your CEs with us to renew your AMTA and ABMP and most other massage organizations.
